You can't edit the name of a recommender in your locker, but when that person signs up for an account, their name will be corrected and will display correctly in your locker.
This problem occurs if you request a recommendation or official document from someone who is not yet your contact and you incorrectly enter the person's name.
If you mistype the name when making the initial request, you'll see the recommendation in your locker with the incorrect name.
Unfortunately, there's no way for you to edit the name on a pending request. However, as soon as the counselor or recommender signs up for their account, they'll enter their own information, including their name. At that time, their name will be corrected.
